The Carolina Cougars are an expansion franchise of the American Basketball Association which will begin play in the 2011 season. Based in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, the Cougars will play their home games at Everett Gym on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan College.
The Cougars are one of three teams owned by Carolina Cats Sports & Entertainment, the other two being the Raleigh-based Carolina Jaguars and the Greensboro-based Carolina Cheetahs.
